Well - it's official - it is now less than 5 months until I move to New York! And it is only 7 weeks until the herb farm closes. Yikes! I am getting a little morose as I look out at the gardens just waking up from the winter, and realize I won't have another winter to spring opportunity again in these gardens. Sighhh. The French sorrel is 3 or 4 inches tall, the chives and leeks are looking wonderful, there are johnny-jump-ups everywhere! On the other hand, I am anxious to visit General to see what it is like in the spring. Brian and I visited in the fall, Pam and I visited in the winter, and we are going again at the end of April (to hear Barbara Crafton preach - how lucky are WE!?) so I am looking forward to seeing the close in full springtime bloom. So - ok, ok - when God closes a door, he opens a window - I get it! I am starting to get a little bit excited, it is just the transition that is difficult.
